Mami Varte is an Indian singer who has worked in several movies and albums. Mami was born on 19 April 1988. Her actual name is Lalrinkimi Varte. She is a Mizo singer, and very popular in north-east India. She began singing at the age of 12. She performed in several local functions and stage shows. Mami released her first album in the year 2007.
The name of the album was Damlai Par. She has appeared in shows like Indian Idol and Coke Studio. She was the judge of the show Mizo Idol Season 4. She started working from 2004 and is still active in the industry.
