Rini Chandra

Rini Chandra is a playback singer born in Canada on 3rd August 1986. Rini got fame after participating in Saregamapa Singing Superstar in 2010. After the show was wrapped up, she went on a world tour to sing in various concerts, including shows within India. On the show, she was known as ‘Live Basanti’ because of her talkative nature. Before coming to India to participate in the singing talent hunt show, she participated in RedFM Idol, 93.1, Canada.

She won the show the third time she participated in 2009. After winning the show, she learnt Hindustani Classical music under Guruji Shri Devendra Hundle Ji for three years. She sang for Ek Veer kiArdas Veera, a show on Starplus, and for EkShringar Swabhimaan, for Colors.
