The story of the movie is about a widow whose life changed after her son was behind bars after a murder acquittal. To save her son she started her journey to gain justice. After all the lawyers refused to take his case, she decided on joining the law college to gain a degree and save her son. However, after gaining the degree she fought for justice. But after being in jail for five years her son had grown up with a different personality. After coming out of jail he was again accused of being a part of a drug mafia. However, after all the evidence spoke against her son. The lady took the step to fight against her son who was found guilty in the entire scenario. Saurabh Sengupta was also a part of the television series named Checkmate which came out in 2012. The story of the series revolves around Mrinalini Dastidar who is a detective. In the entire drama, she along with her teammates tried to solve the mysteries and tried to put forward the truth in front of the people. However, the series Checkmate has been created by Mitali Bhattacharya.
