Agast Anand is an Indian actor, filmmaker, writer, and philanthropist. He was born on 12th September 1970. He belongs to an Army family of late Lal Bachan Kumar and late Jagrani Devi. He is a graduate of Bachelor’s in Economics from Fergusson College and holds a Master’s in Economics from Pune University. He has completed his post-graduation degree in Management from Vamnicom, Pune. Before joining Bollywood in 2015, Agast Anand used to work in the development and media sector. He has also given his voice to some characters. He is also a well-known writer and director. Agast Anand is known for his contribution to Gold(2018), Mumbai Special Pav Bhaji(2021), I Know You(2020), and Xuan Zang(2016).
He has also directed some short movies such as Mukti; The lost Freedom, and Meri Cycle. He has also directed a music video named Chadar ki Silvatein for T-series. He has been honored with many awards including a national-level award for voice-over. He was also awarded 'Natya Kala Shiromani' by the Vikramshila Hindi University in 2018. Agast Anand is married to Priyanka Baruah Anand and they are parents of two children.
