Amit Kumar Poddar is a Bollywood based supporting actor. He was born on August 29, 1988. He hails from Bhagalpur, Bihar. He completed his schooling from BP High School, Begusarai, Bihar. He completed his intermediate education from S.N.N.R College Chamtha, Begusarai, Bihar. Amit completed his college education in Bachelor of Business Administration from Lovely Professional University. He lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He got married to Pooja on 12 June 2012. Mr. Poddar studied acting in Kishor Namit Kapoor acting institute.
He worked as a theater artist for Destiny theater. He has done many Hindi television soap-operas. Mr. Poddar played the role of Yamdev in &tv aired show Jay Santoshi Maa, a competitor in Starplus aired show
