Another Version :
Bikramjeet Singh is not a very pronounced identity in the tinsel town, but he has contributed in a unique and substantial manner to the entertainment industry. Previously a senior officer, Singh brought his methodical nature and respectable demeanor to Bollywood from the Indian Army. He has shared the screen with elite superstars like Shah Rukh Khan and
Deepika Padukone in a movie called Om Shanti Om(2007). This Bollywood movie depicts two different eras and subtly draws a connection between them. It picturizes the reincarnation of the 1970s’ blooming actor (played by Shah Rukh Khan) into an established, but spoilt actor, who later realizes his duties and tries to unveil the death of his lover,
Shanti Priya (played by Deepika Padukone).
Singh plays the role of a production manager in the film. Bikramjeet’s theatrical career includes another Bollywood movie, Shortcut Romeo(2013). Directed and written by Susi Ganesan, the movie is not quite distinctive, but the cinematography and direction make watching it worthwhile. The movie falls into the genre of ‘masala movies’, which is a typical name associated with Bollywood one-time-watches. Singh plays the role of the protagonist’s, Suraj(enacted out by
Neil Nitin Mukesh), uncle. The plot portrays a main anti-hero lead who tries to achieve big in life by involving himself in criminal activities like extortion.
Eventually, falling in love makes him want to turn his life straight for which he has to pay a greater price. Appearance on the small screen television is also not far-fetched for Singh. In the epic television series, Kismat(2011-present), Singh performs the character of Kabir’s, who is one of the protagonists in the serial, father. The television program airs on the Sony Entertainment Channel, and it is the Indian adaptation of a 1979 novel authored by Jeffrey Archer, named Kane and Abel. The show was introduced first on national television on 14th February 2011.
