Tripti Mukherjee is an Indian classical singer. She was born in Kolkata, India, and is known for her melodious voice. She started her career in 1970. She received training in classical music as well as harmonium playing. In 1973, she made her Bollywood debut with the song Yaadon Ki Baaraat in the movie Yaadon Ki Baaraat. She later performed for other well-known composers, including Kalyanji-Anandji, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, and R.D. Burman. Additionally, Tripti Mukherjee has published a number of albums of folk and devotional music.

For her singing, she has received several awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the song Yeh Galiyan Yeh Chaubara from the movie Prem Rog. She has performed songs in a variety of genres, including folk, romantic, and religious, and is renowned for her lovely voice. Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Aaj Ki Raat, and Mere Naina Sawan Bhadon are a few of her well-known songs.
