Jayanth C Paranjee

He was brought up in Gandhinagar, which is the main hub of Kannada film distributors’ offices. Jayanth had a profound interest in painting, music and theatre plays. He has directed some of the renowned English plays and many Telugu TV shows like “Tenalirama” (Doordarshan). The plots and music of his films are commendable and strike a chord with the audiences. Paranjee has also forged many documentaries and ad films. In 1997, he did his directorial debut with the film “Preminchukundam Raa” that featured Venkatesh, Anjala Zhaveri in the leads.
