’. The film was produced by his father, Ramakrishna. However, this film was his first and last film, since he died on July 3, 2013, due to a massive heart attack. He breathed his last breath at the M. S. Ramaiah Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital. According to the cardiologist, Hemanth’s chain-smoking habit might be one of the main reasons as to the blockage in his artery. The actor used to take 6-packs of cigarettes in a day. On the night of July 2, 2013, he went to the hospital because of chest pain, and the angiogram showed that he was suffering from a massive heart attack and that his blood pressure was getting very low. The doctors also found some clots in his main artery.
Hemanth was not doing any film at the time of his death, but it was reported that he was finalizing a script with a big banner for his next Kannada film.
