Akhil D Manu is a filmmaker and a cinematographer who was born on 29th February 1992, in Haripad, Kerala. He did a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia and Animation from Punjab Technical University and a Master’s degree in Filmmaking from Annapurna International School of Film and Media. He first debut in the film industry as a cinematographer in the Malayalam movie Varnamala, under Giridhar Productions. After a month, he worked at The Chitrakars as the director of photography where he used his skills and ideas to develop advertisements, B2B and B2C audio-video explainers. In 2012, he started to work as a freelance filmmaker with a freelancers union; in 2015, he worked with Independent Motion Picture and Film Professional as director, producer, and filmmaker.
He is the founder of Rainbow Corp and also has experience as a freelancer in Photography, Graphic Designing, and Architectural Designing. He won the first prize at the World Photography Day Expo conducted by the Uttarakhand Photographers Association and Emergency Service Government of India.
