Arya Satheesh Babu

Arya Satheesh Babu was born on 13th September 1990 in Kerala. She is one of the most popular and successful actresses working in the Mollywood film and TV industry at this moment. Since her childhood, Arya was always fascinated with movies and show show-business. During her school days she would always take part in stage shows, skits and plays.

She also was a great dancer, she won many prizes throughout her school days. She was an expert in classical dance, and later in her high school days she also learnt western and many other forms of dances. After completing her education, Arya started modeling and she would do many fashion shows and also endorse various products and appear in numerous commercials.

She first appeared on TV on the show Nestle Munch Stars dance competition, a show which showcased her dancing abilities. But, her major break on TV came on the show Maharani in 2009, where she worked for two years. She would simultaneously appear on other shows too for a few times. After Maharani, Arya got married and had to take a break from TV for about 3 years.

Upon returning to the industry, Arya acted in a reality TV show called Stars, where her on-screen presence was very impressive as she got a huge fan following after that. Seeing the response on Stars, Arya was cast in the hit TV show Badai Bungalow which would go on to become her most successful show, and the one show which she is renowned for by all of Kerala. On Badai Bungalow, people saw a completely different side of Arya as she would do comedy, and nobody had seen her do comedy, that too very well.

That role became the defining role of her career and she became a regular on the show for about five years up to 2018. Simultaneously, Arya was working on other TV shows like Mohakkada, Sarayu, Ishtam, Taste Time Taste Time is a reality cookery show hosted on Asi >> Read More... and about 15 other shows. She would star in shows and host some of the others. Her first time on the silver screen came in 2015 in the movie Lailaa O Lailaa. She then did movies like Preetham, Pa Va, Almara and around 10 other movies.

Currently, Arya can be seen on the second season of Bigg Boss Malayalam. Arya right now through her hardwork is one of the most popular celebrities in the Mollywood industry.
