Gauri Nambiar is an Indian actress and model, who was introduced as the heroine in I. Ganesh’ Tamil film, "Sembattai", under the banner of G. S . Studio Production in 2012. She was paired with M. Bala, who is also making his debut in the film. Sembattai also marked the directorial debut of Ganesh, who worked as an assistant to director Fazil. Prior to this, she acted in the Malayalam film, "Vasudha" in 2011, which was helmed by Subodh Chopra.
