Born on May 30, 1933, in Marangattupilly, Kerala, Karingozhakkal Mani Story soon >> Read More... also called "Mani" is the pioneer of Kerala Congress (M) and an Indian veteran politician. He is the son of Smt. Aliyamma and Sri. Thomas Mani.

He began his political career by being the Congress chief of Marangattupilly ward. He married to Kuttiyamma, Congress veteran P. T. Chacko’s cousin and five little girls - Tessy, Elsa, Sally, Annie and Smitha, and one son Jose K.

In 2009 and 2014, Mani as an individual from Parliament elected to LokSabha from Kottayam. Mani rehearsed as a legal advisor before going into legislative issues as a functioning individual from Indian National Congress.

He joined as the Secretary of Kottayam District Congress Committee from 1960 to 1964, the arrangement of Kerala Congress. They chose him to Kerala Legislative Assembly without precedent for 1965 from the Palai Assembly Constituency.

He won all the ten races in the years1967, 1970,1977,1980,1982, 1987, 1991,1996,2001, and 2006. Mani served as minister for many positions in the Government from 1977 to 2006. He was twice the Home Affairs minister in 1977 and 1978.

He was thrice the Finance and Law minister from 1980 to 1982. Mani also became Revenue and Law minister three times in 1987, 1991 and 2001. He held the position of the Irrigation and Law minister in 1987. He has never failed in an election to the Legislative Assembly.

He has the records of having displayed the most extreme number of allowance (thirteen) as Finance Minister in the Kerala Legislative Assembly and furthermore as the longest-serving individual from Kerala Assembly. He also has the refinement of being the longest-serving politician in the Government of Kerala and spoken frequently to Pala administrative supporters since its commencement in 1964.

His drive named Karunya Lottery Benovelent Scheme claims budgetary help for about one lakh fifty thousand needy patients of Rs. 1400 crores. He presented benefits for agriculturists and dowagers in the state of Kerala. Mani’s Theory of the Toiling Class featured in the British Parliament.

Given Kerala High court's remarks on Mani's inclusion in Kerala BAR permit trick and pay off the case, he needed to leave from the Finance minister of Kerala post on 10 November of 2015. He is the writer of The Eighth Five Year Plan-An alternative approach, Fiscal Problems of Kerala-Causes and Remedial Measures and The People's Socialism.
