R. Somashekharan

He was married to Jayamani and had three children: Jayasekhar, Jayasri, and Jayadev. He contributed in music production for the movie Ayaal, directed by Suresh Unnithan, his younger brother. He made his debut in the music industry by composing songs such as Prakrithee Prabhaamyai and Maaranicheppile for the 1982 film Ithum Oru Jeevitham.
