Dileep Sankar

Dileep Sankar was born on 24 January and is from Cochin, Kerala. He was the Kalapratibha of M.G. University in the year 1995. He is a very prominent Serial and Cinema actor known for his characters in serials like Ente Manasa Puthri, Manasariyathe, and Minnukettu. He has acted in a few movies like Gramophone, Kallu kondoru Pennu, Mazhapeyyumbol, Chappa Kurishu. In the movie Left Right Left, he plays the character of Joseph, who is a communist, and he gets killed in front of his son. The role was small but a strong one. His character in Chappa Kurishu as the Mobile shop owner who leaks the video of Fahad Fazil was noticed. His first teleserial was Roses in December directed by Jude Attipetty (1995). He was also a part of serials like Durga, Vava, Sparsham, Kayamkulam Kochunni, Mandaram, and Aa Amma (2006).He has acted in several Tamil serials like Muhoortham and Kolangal. He is an Ad Film Director as well and heads the Ad Agency DNM Ideas.

In 2016, Dileep Sankar played an important role in Asianet’s Balaganapathy. In 2020, Dileep played in the series “Ammayariyathe” as Advocate Peter Tharakan. His role reached well among the Malayalam TV audience. The same year, he worked in Thinkal Kalaman with Haritha G Nair, Krishna, and Rayjan Rajan. In 2024, Dileep was working in the Flowers TV series, “Panjagni.” He shared the screen space with Rajashri Nair, Vaishnavi Saikumar, and Karthika Kannan in Panjagni.

On 29^th December 2024, Dileep Sankar was found dead in a hotel room in Trivandrum. He was staying at the hotel to take part in the next schedule of his serial Panjagni. A staff found a foul smell in Dileep’s room. After a few attempts of knocking, they opened the door and found Dileep dead. As per the investigations, it was reported that the actor would have died at least 2 days back when he was found.
