Mayyanad Sasikumar

Mayyanad Sasikumar is a Malayalam writer primarily known for the Malayalam television series Ponpulari. Sasikumat did his schooling at Model School, Trivandrum, H. S. S. Mayyanad. and St. Aloysius School, Kollum. He later pursued a bachelor’s in art at S. N. College, Kollum, his subjects being English language and literature. Sometime later, he enrolled as a research scholar at the University of Kerala. He did in-depth research in eastern philosophies, focusing on studying Vedas, Vedantha, and Epics. During his stint as a scholar, he moved to different places across the country, where he inherited knowledge from saints and spiritual mentors. He is also credited with giving speeches about the subjects of his research. Later he published books on Indian philosophy.

In 1976, he joined the Indian Navy as a naval aviator and continued in the same designation for over four years. Later, he donned the role of a visiting lecturer, working as both a consultant and a coach for more than a decade. He both delivered lectures in English and worked as a freelance trainer. In 1997, he joined Wintips Training Academy, a personality development academy where he works as a professional trainer for students, professionals, and teachers. Besides the above accomplishments, Mayyanad is known for writing the book titled Education-Means & Ends, available on Amazon. He is credited with writing six books on personality development and has over twenty years of experience in meditation. As a personality trainer, he incorporates his knowledge of Veda and Vedantha in his training methods and procedures. He also conducts leadership training programs.
