Rohini Ninawe began working as a writer (only as a hobby) in 1997 when she first wrote the dialogues for the TV series Damini, which ran from 1997 to 2007. After that, she began a career in dialogue writing and started with the TV series Avantika. She also wrote dialogues for the TV series Avaghachi Sansaar in 2002, but only for one episode.
