Sreemani

Sreemani is an Indian writer and director who works predominately in the Tamil film industry. He was born and brought up in Madurai, India. Sreemani completed his higher education at Mangayarkarasi Higher Secondary School. He completed his under graduation at Madurai Kamaraj University. Sreemani is married and has two daughters. Since childhood, Sreemani has expressed a significant interest in movies. When he got into college, Sreemani and his friends produced a few short films.

He used to attend short-film competitions held at numerous colleges and have won several events. Sreemani joined as an assistant director to an acclaimed Tamil filmmaker, PerarasuArasu.Sreemani's directorial debut Arjuna launched in 2018. Later the movie dropped because of some financial issues. He had another child-centric script and was pitching it to various producers. Ultimately, Vanajakshi creations produced the film. The title of the movie was Kanmani Papa.

Actor Vijay Sethupathi released the film's first look poster. The team has completed the post-production work of the movie, and now it is awaiting a release date. In August 2019, Sreemani announced on his social media about his upcoming film Viyugam which features Srushti Dange in a significant role. The movie is under production and expected to hit the screens soon. Sreemani likes spending most of his free time with his family and friends. He enjoys watching commercial films more and is an ardent fan of actor Rajinikanth.
