Jayashree Chandramohan, also known as Jaya Mahesh, was born on the 14th of February, 1969, into a Tamil family in Coimbatore. She studied at GRG Matriculation Higher and Secondary School in Coimbatore and graduated with B.Com from PSGR Krishnakammal College. She married a business professional, Mahesh Kumar G in the year 1995. Jaya suffered from Post Pregnancy trauma after the birth of her daughter, Sanjana. She gained over 118 kilograms and lost her eyesight due to the abnormal weight gain. However, she decided to fight against it and started taking caring for her health.
She devised a routine of which food to eat and what exercises to do. She was crowned Mrs. Coimbatore in the year 2006. She was crowned Mrs. India Earth Classic in the year 2016. She was the runner-up at Mrs. Globe Classic Event in California and has also bagged the Mrs. Photogenic crown. Apart from being a pageant winner, Jaya is also a fitness therapist, and the founder of Jaya Mahesh Body Sculpting Therapy. She is a counsellor who works with corporates, government bodies and educational institutes.
