‘Indian 2’ is indefinitely delayed for now. There are reports that the makers are aiming for a July release. However, an official confirmation is yet to be made.
But there are some reports which indicate towards a common link in both ‘Indian’ franchise and ‘Game Changer’. While nothing is official yet, there are reports that the plots of ‘Indian 2’, ‘Game Changer’ and ‘Indian 3’ are interlinked.
Is this actually possible. On paper, probably not. However, there is a common theme between the ‘Indian’ franchise and ‘Game Changer’ : ZERO TOLERANCE for corruption! While ‘Indian’ chooses the vigilante way, ‘Game Changer’ takes a more practical route, with the protagonist being an IAS officer, who opts for smart work.
Interestingly, the final cut for ‘Indian 2’ is somewhere around 6 hours. Under no circumstances would any distributor be that brave enough to release the entire product without any cuts. This is why ‘Indian 2’ is coming in 2 parts: ‘Indian 2’, which will be released in mid 2024, and ‘Indian 3’, which may be released around the end of 2024. If this happens, ‘Game Changer’ may be further pushed towards a Christmas release in 2024 or the Sankranti release in 2025.
