Samyuktha Shanmuganathan

Samyuktha Shan, also known as Samyuktha S Nair, Samyuktha Shanmughanathan, and Shamyuktha Karthik, is a model, actress, and nutrition coach. She was born and raised in Tamil Nadu. Her mother’s name is Pratibha Nair. She also has one elder brother. She is married to Karthik Shankar, a businessman, and has a 5-year-old son, Rayan, together. She trained in Indian Classical and Zumba dance forms. She also trained in Karate and Martial Arts.  She has studied at St. Patrick's Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School, Chennai. She is a B. E. (Civil) from Hindustan College of Engineering, Chennai. She is a Precise Nutrition Pn1 certified coach. She joined Infosys, Mysuru, as a software engineer in 2007 for about two years and then joined Arabian Publications as a media coordinator in UAE. She worked at Techzone from 2010 as a business manager.

She also worked as head of operations at Black N Green in 2013. She started her company, Karsam Solutions Private Limited, on 17 April 2015 in Chennai and started her entrepreneurship journey. She also started a franchise of Toni & Guy in Kerela in 2017. She worked for magazines like Tokyo Magazine, The Little Factory (super mom series), DT Next, and We. She was a contestant of the popular TV reality show Big Boss Tamil 4 in 2020, where she got evicted as the fifth contestant on the 56th day. She has also worked for many TV commercials, which include Indulekha Hair Oil, Happy Unicorn, Safe Wash, and AVT. Her son Rayan also appeared in the ad for IDBI Federal Life Insurance. 

As a model, she won the Miss Chennai beauty pageant in 2007. She also received the Best Model Award by the Realistic Awards in 2020. As a movie actress, she debuted in the Malayalam movie Oolu (2019) as Shwetha, directed by Shaji N. Karun. She is known for her work in Varisu (2023) as Ajay's wife, Tughlaq Durbar (2021) as Damayanthi, and Coffee with Kadhal (2022) as Radhika.
