Sashikala Babu is a Chennai born on November 5, 1991 and news anchor, presently working with Thanti TV. Earlier she worked with NDTV Hindu for one year. From a very young age,she was fascinated by the media industry and always wanted to be a part of it. During her school days, she took part in radio programs, event management, and movies.
She officially started hosting ceremonies and events at a younger age 16.Very early in her life, she realized that she has a flair for this and decided to take up hosting as a profession. To further pursue her passion, she did BSc. in visual communications. Apart from media and television, she also pursues hobbies like cooking, reading,and watching movies.
