T. V. Varadarajan is a multitalented and multidimensional personality in the Tamil Entertainment industry especially in the world of Tamil Television. T. V. Varadarajan is a well known Tamil theater artists and theater activist, a favorite news anchor along with being a talented television actor who acts in popular and hit Tamil television serials. T. V. Varadarajan has worked as a news reader in National Doordarshan television channel in Tamil for almost 28 years. Before becoming a news reader and an anchor, T. V. Varadarajan worked in Bank Of India.

During his early days as a News Reader, he became quite popular among the people watching the news and was offered to act in Tamil plays. Initially, he acted in the plays of Y.G. Mahendra but later formed his own theatre troupe in the early 90’s. His play Elavasa Enaippu has even won many accolades and several awards such as the s Mylapore Academy Awards. At one of his plays, once the legendary director K. Balachander came as an audience and he was very much impressed by Varadarajan’s acting that he offered him to act in his Tamil television serials and Varadarajan happily showed his consent to it.

T. V. Varadarajan appeared as the lead male protagonist in many of Balachander’s hit and successful television ventures such as- Kadhal Pagadai, Premi and Kai Alavu Manasu to name a few among many others. Currently, besides acting in Tamil television serials, T. V. Varadarajan writes and directs plays among which his recent political satire drama- Tughlak Satya was a hit. He also hosts his own official Facebook page through which Varadarajan connects with his fans worldwide. Currently, he is acting in the serial Thamarai in the role of Raghavan.
