Telugu anchor, Subhashini is a famous icon in the Telugu Television industry. Coming from a small village named Kollipara, in the Guntur district, where her father was a farmer and her mother was a housewife, she made a name for herself in the industry. She was a bright student initially, but she didn't have a specific goal in mind until she started college. She was drawn to a news reader named Sangeetha, who worked for Doordarshan when pursuing her degree. She had always wished to be like her, so she would take the magazines and read them like Sangeetha reads the news. Her family, being relatively conventional, forbade her entry into the Television industry and advised her to focus only on her academics and, if feasible, work in an office. Her parents refused to send her to Hyderabad for news reader training, despite her efforts to persuade them that she would work for a radio station if she didn't work for TV. She enrolled in PG after finishing her bachelor's degree, but she married a man who worked as an HR manager in a private business shortly after.

After having a child, she joined a job on the ETV Channel. Finally, she began her career by working on a show named 'Cine Ranjanee,' with which she established a strong reputation. She went on to work in shows like 'Jeevana Rekha,' 'Hrudyam,' 'Sakhi,' 'Thirthayathra,' ' Telugu Velugu Telugu Velugu is a Telugu serial broadcast on the >> Read More... ,' 'Rashi Chakram,' and others, totaling over 1000 episodes. Subhashini has received projects from Doordarshan, Maa TV, Vanita, and practically all Telugu stations due to her composure and consistency. Anchor Subhashini says, "When I started my career, my relatives did not like this, but later everything changed. Whenever go to my native place, all of them respect me as a great celebrity, once they organized a program for me. One unforgettable incident is that, the college where I have completed my education called me as a guest in the Silver Jubilee function and awarded me a special award. I got many appreciations for my talking style. But though have completed my 15years in my dream career, feel that I have many more things to learn."
