Laasya is an Indian actress and anchor. She was born on 27th August 1989. She is popular for hosting Telugu TV shows like Something Special on Maa Music and several other shows on other channels like Maa TV, Zee Telugu, Gemini TV, etc. Laasya hails from Tirupathi in Andhra Pradesh and lives in Hyderabad in Telangana. She studied Electronics and Communication from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology in Hyderabad. Laasya married Manjunath Chillale on 15th February 2017. In 2009, Laasya made her television debut with Gemini TV despite disapproval from her parents. In 2011, Lasya hosted Something Special, which later changed to Everything Special, on Maa Music alongside co-host anchor Ravi.

The talk show made Laasya a household name as audiences were enthralled by Lasya and Ravi’s humor. Laasya received the Best Female Video Jockey Award during the 4th Padmamohan TV Awards and Best Female Video Anchor award from Delhi Telugu Academy, both in 2014 for Something Special on Maa TV.
