Siddharth Ramaswamy is a well-known cinematographer in the Indian Film industry. He has worked for almost 15 years now. Born in the year 1977 and hailing from a family with cinema background, Siddharth is the grandson of Shri Vepathur Kitto, who was one of the biggest inspirations and writers of the historical movie, Chandralekha that was shot in both Tamil and Hindi.

Siddharth graduated from the TV & Institute of Tamil Nadu in 1997 after finishing his Diploma in Film and TV Production. His debut movie as a cinematographer was in the feature movie Nala Damayanti in 2002. Then he went on to work in Mumbai Express, which was acted and produced by the legendary actor Kamal Hassan.

It was the first film ever that was shot in the form of a digital video. Then he went on to do Tamil movies like Yaaradi Nee Mohini Yaaradi Nee Mohini which translates to ‘Who are yo >> Read More... , Aravaan, Kungumapoovum Konjumpuraavum, Kuzhali, etc. Telugu films like Gunturodu, Nenorakam, Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam, etc had Siddharth as the cinematographer in its cast crew. The Distinguished cinematography award and TN state award in 2002 was awarded to him as a token of appreciation for his hard work put in as his efforts for the film industry.
