Raghu Karumanchi

Raghu Karumanchi is a veteran comedian-actor of Tollywood, who is very much active on social media nowadays. He believes that two things spell success in life- one must manage when he has nothing, and one has to behave or accept his life when he has everything. He is not only known for his comic dialogues in films, but he is also a very frank person who posts humorous messages on social media, both on Twitter and Facebook.

He acted in the Hindi remake of ‘Zanjeer’, which had Ram Charan Teja and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. In the year 2013, he was seen in the Telugu movie, 'Sukumarudu’. He is not just a comedy actor on the Telugu screen, but has even done many character roles. However, he is known for his comedy scenes, which come to him very easily. He considers Junior NTR as his big brother and finds inspiration from various veteran artistes of Tollywood. Recently, the actor was shooting for Navin Chandra’s upcoming flick, ‘Chandamama Raave’, in Goa. In the latest Telugu movie, ‘Terror’, he played the role of a junior cop. The actor tries to bring original effect to his character, and recently, in his upcoming movie, he showed his burnt-effect make up for a movie by his personal makeup artists, Naga Raju & Srinu, on Facebook. He is also appearing in the Kannada remake of ‘Goli Soda’, and was recently seen shooting in Bengaluru. He has claimed that legend Nandamuri Balakrishna visited the sets and the actor was really overwhelmed to see him there.

Recently, the actor was seen in another Telugu flick ‘Speed Unnodu', which released in February 2016. The actor is busy shooting for a Kannada movie in Bengaluru. In the end of 2015, his latest movie, ‘Soukyam’, released in theaters. It is really impossible to think of any other veteran comedian other than Raghu Karumanchi in Tollywood now.
