Sudhakar Reddy is an Indian film cinematographer, producer, and distributor. He is the father of Telugu actor, Nithiin, of Jayam fame. He started his career as a cinematographer and has worked in several films like Nippulanti Manishi (1986), Raktabhishekam (1988), Bazaar Rowdy (1988), Vicky Daada (1989), Abbai Gari Pelli (1997), Gundagardi (1997), Manasara (2010), 8AM Number Veedu (2011), Avunu (2012) and many more. He bagged the Nandi Award for Best Cinematographer in Ravi Babu’s 2009 Telugu thriller film, Amaravathi.
Sudhakar has also produced films like Babai Abbai (1985), Kashmora (1986), Yuvakudu (2000), Dhairyam (2005), etc. He also produced the films Raam (2006) and Chinnadana Nee Kosam (2014) with Nithiin in the main lead role. Under his son’s own banner, Global Cinemas, Sudhakar distributed films like Gunde Jaari Gallantayyindhe (2013),
