Nazim Panipat is a well-known and very famous lyricist, film scriptwriter, and poet who predominantly worked in the Pakistani and Indian film industries. He was born in 1920 in Lahore, British India. Nazim is the brother of a famous filmmaker, producer, and director Mohammad Walli popularly known as Walli Sahib. Nazim has written above two hundred songs for Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi movies. He composed music for a film in 1940 named Yamla Jat, the debut movie of Bollywood superstar Pran Krishan Sikand. Nazim Panipat migrated to Pakistan in 1953 and started working as a playback singer. His first movie in Pakistan was Guddi Gudda in 1956, directed and produced by Walli Sahib, his brother.
