Thakur Jaswant Singh rules over the region and has full control over the village. He is only interested in taxes, women and alcohol. After the death of his father, he has increased the tax rates. One day while walking across the hallway, he falls and then assaults the woman responsible for this. He is interrupted by the woman's son, Jeeva, and they both indulge in a deadly fight and Thakur was about to shoot him but his mother stops him from doing so. Durga and Vikram Kapoor had two sons, one of which was stolen away by his rival gangster Jaggi. Vikram is a gangster but has not taken big crime contracts.
