Indian film cinema has given us some of the incredible narrations and characters. However, not every character is likable in the eyes of the audience. Some could be with toxic masculinity, most clueless, irritating, or even with unusual habits. Here is the list of the top 10 Worst Characters in the Indian film cinema industry.

1. Kabir Singh

Kabir Singh has toxic masculinity and is the walking red flag. He has severe anger management issues and has hit the lead character, Preeti. When her parent refuses her relationship with him, he abuses substances such as drugs and alcohol. He treated a patient while still in a hangover. He had casual affairs with women to forget Preeti. Is anyone can be worse than him?

2. Kundan And Zoya

Kundan was the main character in the movie. The problem with him was that he didn’t know how to take NO as an answer. Even after countless rejections he gets from Zoya, he continues to follow her. Not only Kundan but Zoya was the least likable character in the movie. She takes the help of Kundan even after knowing he loves her. Getting blind with revenge was not a good thing you do, and you expected people to like to.

3. Badrinath Bansal (Badri)

Badrinath is the son of a wealthy family and becomes obsessed with a girl, Vaidehi. He wants to marry her and make her a housewife. However, she dreams to become a flight attendant. On her wedding day, she runs away from her home. Devastated, he goes in search of her. He kidnaps her and puts her inside the car trunk. Badri, in anger, holds her neck and shouts at her for running away from him. He checked all the conditions in the red flags list.

4. Meghna Mathur

Meghna wants to pursue her dream of becoming a model despite her family being against it. She leaves her home and befriends various people in the industry. After the overnight success of the lingerie shoot, she leaves her friends and even break up from her relationship. She makes some wrong decisions and becomes depressed with her life choices after her one-night stand.

5. Gautam

Gautam is the carefree playboy who flirts with every woman he meets. After being in a relationship with a girl, Veronica, he broke up with his friend, Meera, because she was more outgoing and free. Gautam cheated on Veronica with her roommate Meera as she is more docile and is the polar opposite of him. He started loving Meera, which eventually led to the fallout in the girl’s friendship. The male nobody wants in their life.

6. Alizeh

Alizeh was the confused character of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. She meets Ayan in a disco and hooks up with him. They became friends. They broke up with their partners, realizing they are getting cheated on, and then party. Alizeh met with her DJ lover after a long time, and she patched up with him, too. After a few days, she decides to marry him and later realizes she doesn’t love him. Alizeh needed to check her emotions and facts first.

7. Madhav Shastri (Maddy)

Madhav is a brat and a bad boy in Rehnaa hain Terre Dil Mein. He doesn’t respect girls and makes comments about them in their college. He becomes obsessed with a girl and lies to her about his true identity. Madhav stalks her and uses the girl’s best friend. He has anger issues and throws tantrums when he can’t get the girl. He still gets the happy ending he didn’t deserve.

8. Akash And Kiara

For any mental health professional, the film itself was irritating to watch. Both the protagonist was adamant about ending their life that the movie started feeling like a joke. When they couldn’t succeed, they both decided to live for some time and to fulfill their wishes. After the whole film, they solve their problems in two minutes. There was zero character development in the movie. Akash and Kiara were hard to even sympathize with. 

9. ACP Jai Dixit

In one case, he tried to take the help of a local bike dealer, Ali. Even though he tried to help the ACP and saved him many times, Dixit appeared to be the most ungrateful person. Although he is the ACP, he has a record of catching zero criminals. He often leave his wife alone and goes to see the criminals.  Eventually, the other characters are more interesting than him.

10. Taani Gupta

Taani was the clueless character of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She has married a shy office employer to fulfill her father’s last wish. She couldn’t love him as devastated by the death of her fiancé and stay confided in herself. She took part in the dancing competition. Her husband got a makeover and became her dance partner to win her heart. The biggest thing was she couldn’t recognize her husband without specs and a mustache.
