David Bowie Tribute At ‘Coachella 2016’

The music and art festival which happens every year in California at the Empire Polo Club just got better this year! ‘Coachella 2016’ began on 15th April and had the weekends fully booked.

The world famous new LCD Sound system was used to showcase different musicians and band performances along with trippy effects. They paid tribute to the late iconic singer David Bowie during the first day.

Even other singers and bands performed covers of the singer’s famous songs. Bowie’s ‘ Heroes’ was covered by the ‘Rockers’. The Band had reunited after separating in 2010, and this is their first performance after the break.

They performed a couple of their own hit songs like ‘Tribulations’ and ‘You Wanted a Hit’ before telling the crowds that they had two more songs left before their performance ended. And they broke into a beautiful cover of David’s ‘Heroes’.

‘Rockers’ had worked previously with David Bowie on his remix track ‘Love is Lost’ in 2013 and paid a good tribute to the singer.
