. He has returned to his schedules of AkshatVerma’s thriller intertwined with comedy. For now, the movie has been titled Kalagandi. It is to be noted that Saif Ali Khan underwent a minor surgery on the 30 th of June. It happened that Saif was busy on Thursday too. He was shooting in the locales in Mumbai’s vicinity.
A leading production unit quit from producing the movie. Actress Anushka Sharma has made announcement that she would take up the movie production under her banner. The movie is meant for Adults. There are three parallel stories in the movie. It all happens during the course of a night.
Many actors including Arjun Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana rejected the movie fearing its daredevil subject. They did not want to take risk. But, Saif Ali Khan chose the subject. Saif Ali Khan does the hero of the movie. Akshay Oberoi has done the role of younger buddy in the movie. Actor Neil Bhoopalam, who is noted for his performance in NH 10 is to make appearance in the movie.
Saif Ali Khan has made a request to the directors to take care of some contents in the movie, He has said this because he wanted to avoid censor problems. Also Saif Ali Khan suggested a new title to the movie. He requested that the movie be titled Kala Kanti.
