Pawan says, "If it weren't in a song, I would have had to write at least 10-12 scenes to give audiences a feeling of all these elements. That, I thought, will create an unnecessary lag in the proceedings, considering that the whole story takes off from Malgudi with Nandini."
Nandini is the role played by Parul in Jessie.
