”. His next film “10 Endrathukulla” features Vikram and Samantha in the lead. The film involves a lot of travel and was originally written as a road movie; but was delayed as “Paiyya” was released. Vikram plays an expert car driver, who drives on call. The reasoning of such drivers is fast and they often have to take split-second decisions. Even 10 seconds can look like a long time for such a person. The concept of this film is about how quickly a person reacts in a problematic situation. Vijay Milton had done a project during his film institute days and Vikram played as the hero in his project. Vijay knows Vikram, since then.
He worked with Vikram again as an assistant cinematographer in “Pudiya Mannargal” and as a cinematographer in “Samurai”. Vikram watched “Goli Soda” and asked Milton, whether he had any good stories for him. Then Vijay Milton told him the story, which Vikram liked. But the story was altered a bit to suit Vikram. Stars like Vijay, play a certain kind of roles; but the versatile artiste Vikram could do any kind of role including a father or a romantic guy. The director wanted him to look young and handsome again, as he pairs young Samantha. So, Vikram had to transform his look, again so that, the on-screen chemistry between him and Samantha would be good.
