Vasanthabalan gave much-anticipated films such as 'Angaadi Theru', 'Veyil' and later 'Kaaviya Thalaivan', a wonderful movie with mixed reviews. Presently Vasanth is to cast Arulnithi for a project titled "Chembarampaakam".
The crux of the story is based on the catastrophic flood that occured in Chennai, which brought the daily life to a grinding halt.
Arulnithi plays a resident of the bank of river Adyar that faces the fury of the summer and that which loses all during the rainy season.
