Asha Sharath made a complaint at the office of the City Police Commissioner in Kochi, due to a photo containing of an obscene image of the actress. The fake photo started to circulate in the social networking websites and Asha stated that this is an attempt to malign her.
Asha is persistent on putting the culprit to task and as she turned to her Facebook page, she said the cyber police are now investigating on the issue and the perpetrator will soon be brought to book. She is also calling for everyone to join hands and ensure that all the women will be treated with respect instead of humiliating them.
