Director "V. Gowthaman" warns the central government not to create cultural war. He also invites the youngsters to Madurai to conduct Jallikattu. In his statement, Gowthaman says, “If Tanjore reaps the crops it would be enough for the entire world. But, in the same Tanjore for the past two months, more than two hundred farmers died without food and had a heart attack feeling for the crops and their dry land. The central government didn’t allow the Cauvery Committee that would give the justice in the water issue. Now, our cultural sports Jalliakttu is being banned. Our farming, our culture and history are being erased by the ruling Central Government.” Gowthaman also says that even other countries like Australia, Malaysia and Canada are governing Tamil people and the culture. But, the Indian government is crushing Tamil people and Tamil culture.
