Interim Stay On Vijay Starrer Mersal Prolonged

Vijay is a leading actor in the Tamil cine field. He is fondly addressed as Ilaya Thalapathi by his fans. His movie Mersal is bracing up for release. There is now hassle for the release of the movie. There is an interim stay on the movie and the duration of the interim stay has been prolonged. The final verdict regarding the case has been announced for October 6th. Atlee, one among the lead directors in the Tamil cine field directed the movie Theri starring Vijay. Now, both the director and the actor have joined hands for the movie Mersal. The movie is a production venture by Thenandal Films.

The movie is the 100th movie by the production unit. The movie has been produced with an exorbitant sum of Rs 100 crore. Recently, the teaser of the movie was released and turned out to be the trend across the globe. It acquired a huge viewership and a number of likes. In a development, a producer by name Rajendran filed a petition in the Chennai High Court. He said that he is producing a movie titled Mersalayitten under the banner AR Film Factory. Also, he added that he had registered the title in 2014. Now, they have used the title for Vijay’s movie.

So, he mentioned that a ban should be imposed against giving the title for the Vijay Starrer. The court took up the case and imposed an interim stay against giving the title Mersal for the Vijay Starrer. Further, the hearing of the case was taken up on October 4th. The judge heard the argument from both the sides. He said that the interim stay on the movie has been prolonged. He postponed the hearing into the case to October 6th.
