Not even a single photo of Jayalalithaa had been released either by the Apollo Hospitals or by the ADMK, while Jaya was said to have been in treatment for dehydration and fever. After 75 days from the date of admission, the Apollo Hospital pronounced her to be dead due to cardiac arrest. When the cases were filed by various social organizations and activists, the latest petition grabs the attention. It is the petition filed by Apollo hospitals stating that it was Jayalalithaa, who ordered them not to publish her treatment photos. As per the MCA rules, the photos of the patients will not be released, says Apollo. So, the next hearing of the case is adjourned to 13th March 2017.
