, the founder of Makkal Needhi Maiam, the political party hosted his first meeting in Madurai and announced the party name, logo and the flag. He planned his first meeting in Chennai after announcing the party and his next meeting will be in Trichy. Kamal Haasan boldly says that to check his political support, anyone could come to the Trichy meeting. The meeting will be held in grandeur on 4th April. Kamal was asked if the theists would suffer in his rule, as Kamal is an atheist. The actor cum politician said that as he is a rationalist, they will not suffer in his rule. But, if the people are disturbed in the name of caste and religion, then the rationalists, will not keep quiet, stated Kamal.
