Born in 1920, Gemini Ganesan, originally known as >> Read More...
is the veteran and versatile actor in Kollywood as 'Kadhal Mannan' during 60's and 70's. In the name of 'King of Romance' Actor Jiiva's new venture directed by newcomer, Muthukumar is titled as 'Gemini Ganesan' which we reported you already. This film is bankrolled by one of the producers of Puli movie, P.T.Selvakumar.
Meantime there is another film in the making which has Kalaiarasan and Soori in the lead; This film is apparently titled as “Gemini Ganesanum Surulirajanum” directed by debutant Odam Ilavarasu. Asking about the title, Director said, “Kalaiarasan is playing the lover boy in the line of Gemini Ganesan's character, and Soori is playing full-fledged comedy character resembles Surulirajan. As the script demands the names of two veterans, we kept this title”.
Here both the film titles appear very similar. Also, the both is at a very earlier stage in making. News from two different projects has high changes to mislead the audience. We need to wait and watch for the response from Jiiva and team regarding this. Keep watching this space.
