,” the President of the Distributors Association in Chennai Thiruvallur and Kanchipuram districts announced that the members of their association had unanimously decided to stop distributing films after March 27. They had taken this decision as the Tamil Nadu government denied to remove the local body entertainment tax above GST.
If they didn't release the movies then, Master, Soorarai Pottru and many other movies that are scheduled for April release will get into trouble. It is also heard that the distributors from Madurai, Tirunelveli, Coimbatore and Salem had also taken part in the meeting. But, their decision is not yet known.
