The Lok Sabha elections and the assembly by-polls are fast approaching. Tamilnadu will have the election in the second phase, 18th April 2019. The political parties are campaigning for both the polls. Tamilnadu Congress Committee leader KS Alagiri campaigned for Manik Thakur in Virudhunagar. During their meeting, a lot of chairs were left unoccupied. Ananda Vikatan photographer Muthuraj clicked the empty chairs. Following this, Manik Thakur’s assistant Mahendran attacked Muthuraj and grabbed his camera too.
The Chennai Union Of Journalists condemned this barbaric act of Congress people. They have requested the Virudhunagar Police to take necessary action regarding this. The people who involved in this should be punished, requested the Chennai Union Of Journalists. Will the cops take action against this? Who is right and who is wrong? Let us wait and watch!
