Actor Rahman, who was lastly seen in Husband's role for Jyotika in her comeback film 36 Vayadhinile, has completed working on his upcoming film “16 Duruvangal” a cop crime thriller directed by debutant Karthik Naren. and also worked on the film for two schedules.
Their relationship started with Social Media then later, during Karthik's Chennai visit for his short film “Oomai Kurai” their bond increased rapidly. While Karthik was working for a Pilot film, he decided to convert it into a feature film and began working for “Dhuruvangal 16” a film about disabled cop thriller.
Talking about the development of this project “This film is crime thriller that happens around 50 years old wounded cop who lost his leg in the investigation of concluding the case. This is a no – linear script; the story goes front and back between a crucial day” says director. Mostly importantly Duruvangal 16 film has no Heroine or Villain, which is very rare to watch in Kollywood. Instead, there will 16 characters in pivotal roles in the plot.
