RK Nagar constituency has no MLAs at present. It is the constituency of Madam “Jayalalitha.” After her death, there is none to maintain the constituency with enough facilities that are needed by the public. It was announced that the by-poll would be held on 12th April. Due to the tussle among the ADMK party members and a few other reasons, the election was postponed.
