Y S Rajasekar Reddy is the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. There is a biopic to be made out of his life. The movie has been titled as Yaatra. Mammootty does the role of Rajasekar Reddy in the movie. Nayantara is doing the role of his wife. Through the movie, after 20 yers, Mammootty is doing a Telugu movie. The movie is a directorial venture by Maahi Raghav. It was reported that Suriya is to do the role of his son. But, when enquired with sources close to Suriya, it was clarified that there is no truth in the reports. Also, reports say that discussions did not happen with Suriya.
Previously, there is Keerthy Suresh’s name in recommendation for role in the movie. But, so far it has not been clarified. The movie shooting is to commence the next year.
