Seeman, the director turned Politician is familiar for his voice over to the Sri Lankan Tamils. 

Now, he carries the same statement by Bharathiraja, that "Nadigar Sangam needs a name change". In his press statement, Seeman conveyed his wishes to all the candidates on both the sides and has given a strong message that the name of the Sangam from the ‘South Indian Film Artists Association’ should be changed to the ‘Tamil Nadu Film Artists Association’. 

His statement echoes just like that of Bharathiraja’s. "Initially, this association has been created by the South Indian Artists. Later, the actors in other states formed their own artists’ associations and moved on. 

Now, almost all the artists in the South Indian Film Artists Association are associated only with the Tamil film industry and the stage dramas. So, this association needs a name change, and it should be named as "Tamil Nadu Nadigar Sangam".
