He chose these films only because he liked the scripts. According to Sibi, Director Ramprakash Rayappa of Tamizhuku En Ondrai Azhuthavum brought him a script with believable fantasy factors in it. He has also tried comedy in this film. Sibi is always one to do what the director tells him, and he does not believe in competition.

The script has a fresh approach, and this two hero film was shot mostly in Chennai and Pondy. It is gearing for a Pongal release. Jackson Durai is a horror film that Sibi is doing for its ‘different’ approach. The story starts in the British era and comes to the present day. The film will keep the audience on the edge of their seats, and there will also be a message at the end of this film.

Sibi plays a cop, and Dad Sathyaraj is a ghost in this film. Earlier, Sathyaraj refused to play the role as he is a rationalist, but the director convinced him that he would have his fair share of ‘nayyandi’, and so he accepted. Sibi played a cop in his earlier film Naaigal Jaakkirathai but insists that it is a different and a not so serious plot this time. He does not want to be stereotyped, so he prefers to wait and watch. He will not sign up all films that come his way.
