. For the first time, she directs a play and it will be staged on 12th August during the Gollapudi Srinivas Award 2016. Suhasini says, "I helped Gollapudi Subba Rao in organizing the awards a few years back. From that time I am associated with him. One of our programs was a play by Rajiv Menon, and in next year, we arranged a classical dance program titled Antaram in which I took part. This time, Subba Rao wishes to have a play with a film connect. I had a look at my father ‘Charuhasan's book. Initially, I decided to write the script. Later Subba Rao suggested me to direct the play. The play will have “Y. G. Mahendra, Thalaivasal Vijay, “Prasanna” and VJ Ramya. All of them were excited to be a part of an English play. The play starts with a flashback. I chose actors of different ages to portray my father's role. YG plays the older 'Charuhasan.' The play speaks about how to treat our parents and discuss the unsung heroes. It is not a regular play. We have done about 100 sketches and had used a lot of multimedia to present it."
